राष्ट्रपति के पद की अवधि (Term of Office of The President): अनुच्छेद-56 के अनुसार राष्ट्रपति पद ग्रहण की तिथि से 5 वर्ष की अवधि तक अपना पद धारण करता है। किन्तु वह पाँच वर्ष के पूर्व कभी भी उपराष्ट्रपति को अपना त्यागपत्र दे सकता है। उसे संविधान का अतिक्रमण (Violation) करने पर अनुच्छेद-61 में उपबन्धित महाभियोग की प्रक्रिया द्वारा हटाया भी जा सकता है। राष्ट्रपति अपने पाँच वर्ष की पदावधि की समाप्ति के पश्चात भी तब तक अपना पद धारण किये रहता है जब तक कि उसका उत्तरधिकारी (नया राष्ट्रपति) अपना पद ग्रहण नहीं कर लेता है। राष्ट्रपति जब उपराष्ट्रपति को अपना त्यागपत्र देता है तब उपराष्ट्रपति तत्काल इसकी सूचना लोकसभा अध्यक्ष को देता है। अनुच्छेद-62 में कहा गया है कि राष्ट्रपति की 5 वर्ष की पदावधि समाप्त हाने के पूर्व ही नये राष्ट्रपति के लिए चुनाव सम्पन्न करा लिया जायेगा। राष्ट्रपति का पद मृत्यु, त्यागपत्र, महाभियोग या किसी अन्य कारण से रिक्त होता है तो उसको भरने के लिए चुनाव 6 माह के भीतर कराया जायेगा। मध्यावधि चुनाव द्वारा निर्वाचित नया राष्ट्रपति पद ग्रहण की तिथि से 5 वर्ष तक अपना पद धारण करता ह...

संसदीय प्रस्ताव क्या है ? संसदीय प्रस्ताव, संसद के सदस्यों के बोलने तथा अपनी बात कहने का एक माध्यम है। संसद सदस्य लोक हित से जुड़े मामलों को इन प्रस्तावों के माध्यम से ही संसद में उठाते हैं। संसद सदस्यों द्वारा संसद में रखे जाने वाले प्रस्तावो की सूची निम्नलिखित है – 1. कार्य स्थगन प्रस्तान (Work Adjournment Motions): जब कोई विशेष घटना घटित हो जाय या देश में कोई विशेष स्थिति उत्पन्न हो जाए, तो संसद सदस्य, अध्यक्ष की अनुमति से यह प्रस्ताव कर सकते हैं कि सदन की वर्तमान कार्यवाही को स्थगित कर इस विशेष घटना, स्थिति या प्रश्न पर विचार किया जाना चाहिए। इसे ही ‘कार्य स्थगन प्रस्ताव’ या ‘काम रोको प्रस्ताव’ कहते हैं। प्रश्न काल की समाप्ति के बाद यह प्रस्ताव पेश किया जाता है। कार्य स्थगन प्रस्ताव (adjournment motions) कम-से-कम 50 सदस्यों द्वारा समर्थित होना चाहिए। स्थगन प्रस्ताव पर चर्चा प्रारम्भ हो जाने के बाद अध्यक्ष सभा को तब तक स्थगित नहीं कर सकता जब-तक कि प्रस्ताव का निपटारा न हो जाय। स्थगन प्रस्ताव स्वीकृत हो जाने के बाद सभा स्वतः स्थगित हो जाती है। 2. ध्यानाकर्षण प्रस्ताव (Call Attention ...
