1-CPWD sets up on internal think tank.
• The Central public works department on Thursday setup of internal think-tank meant to help in formulate action plans on policies, productivity , human resources,technology and other issues faced by the construction agency.
• Change management committee would be set up for critical introspection and suggesting action plans on major policy, growth,produ-ctivity,human resources,works,technological development and e- governance related issue.
• Think tank would provide guidance on innovation.
2-government has decided to allow invalid pension to armed force personnel with less than 10 years qualifying service:-
• this pension is granted to the armed force personnel who is invalidate out of service on account of disability which accepted as neither attributable to Nor aggravated (NANA) by military service.
• it will be available to those armed forces personnel who were in service on or after 4th January 2019.
• less than 10 years and any badly and mental Infirmity.
3-EIA :-. Environmental impact assessment is a process of evaluating the likely environmental impact of a proposed project or development taking into account inter-related socio-economic,cultural and human health impact both beneficial and adverse.
• EIA in India is statutorily backed by the environmental protection act, 1986. which contain various provisions on EIA methodology and process.

5-Tetrastemna freyae- is a new species of marine invertebrate found along the coast of tamilnadu.
• it feeds on dead and decaying material and help to recycle nutrients in coastal and deep water sediments.
6-Project sampark:- the Defence minister inaugurated 6 strategic bridge in Jammu and Kashmir and these bridge constructed under project sampark of border road organisation.

7-mobile app Kurma:- (save Turtles in India )
• On may 23,2020 world turtle day, a number of conservation agencies launched a citizen science initiative, a mobile based app called kurma, aimed at turtles conservation.
• the applications developed by the Indian turtle conservation action network (ITCAN) in collaboration with the turtle survival airlince-India and wildlife conservation society-India, not only provides users of database to identify a species but also provides the location of the nearest rescue centre for the turties across the country.
8-government opens up NDRF for individual donation:-.
• centre has applied unused provisions in the disaster management act,2005 to allow any person or institution to contribute to the national disaster response fund for the purpose of disaster management.
• laid out the modalities for recipt of contributions/grants from any person or institution for the purpose of disaster management in the NDRF as per section 46 (1)(b) of the DM act 2005.
9- world youth skills day-15 July
Aim- to acknowledge and celebrate the importance of equipping young people with skills for improvement ,decent work and entrepreneurship.
Theme- skills for resilient youth.
=Global employment trends for youth 2020: technology and the future of jobs- released by the international Labour organisation.
10- kaziranga national park- it is located in the state of Assam and is the single largest undisturbed and representative area in the Brahmaputra valley floodplain.
• the park was declared as the national park in 1974 and was also declared as a tiger reserve in 2006.
• In 1985 the park was designated as a world heritage site by UNESCO.
• it is also recognised as an important bird area by birdlife international for the conservation of avifaunal species.
KAZI 106F- it is a described as the country's only golden Tiger which resides in the kaziranga national park .
11- SASB cancels amarnath Yatra-
• The Shrine is managed by Shri amarnathji shrine board (SASB) ,that was constituted by an act of the Jammu and Kashmir state legislative in 2002 ,with his excellency the governor of Jammu and Kashmir as its ex -officer chairman.
12- export processing zone (EPZ):-
• Asia first EPZ was established in 1965 at kandla ,Gujarat.
• SEZ is estabilized 2002 under the foreign trade policy.
13- warships meet US strike group:-
• Naval ships on Monday conducted a passage exercise (PASSEX) with the US navy USS Nimitz carrier strike group near the Andaman and nicobar Iceland as it is transiting the Indian Ocean.
• The exercise comes at a high alert by the navy in the Indian Ocean region (IOR) due to the stand-off with China along the border in ladakh.
